Old Forge Surgery have decided it is necessary to suspend all routine services to reduce the risk of spreading CoVid-19.
Essential services such as baby vaccines, INR checks and essential monitoring bloods will continue. We are advising all other patients to stay away from the surgery.
All requests for appointments will be triaged by a doctor via telephone, so please give the receptionists as much detail as possible.
We will be contacting patients via telephone only from Monday 16th March 2020.
If you have an appointment already booked, one of our team will telephone you.
Prescriptions can be ordered via telephone, pharmacies, online or your usual way of ordering, apart from attending the surgery.
All prescriptions should be collected from your chosen pharmacy only.
If you do not have a pharmacy collection arrangement in place, then please advise our staff and we can arrange this.
We appreciate your co-operation at this time.
If you have been told by a medical professional to self isolate and you need a self isolation note please click here. Please DO NOT contact the surgery.
The walk in Flu vaccine clinics start next Saturday, 3rd October, in Annalong Presbyterian Church Hall. See below for details We are expecting a great turnout. The GPs, nurses and admin staff have been busy preparing for this mammoth flu vaccination campaign and hope to get as many people vaccinated in the two sessions.
It would be helpful to come with loose clothing eg T shirt that can easily be exposed for the injection. There will be no private changing areas.
At this time we are encouraging our patients to use the online prescription ordering service. Please click here to register for the service.
PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS FOR ALL REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS.
If you do not have a designated pharmacy please contact reception to organise this.
DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY TO COLLECT PRESCRIPTIONS.
